CREATIVITY matters,
now more than ever.
SparkJuiceFlow is grounded in the view that creativity is a teachable practice. Workshops & coaching are rooted in research, draw on multiple disciplines, and balance intellect with intuition.

creativity is a practice, not a trait
I believe that creativity is a set of capacities that evolve over time, available to everyone, at every stage of their life and work. Creativity is a serious, teachable practice—not a rare talent, a personality type, or a moment of inspiration. SparkJuiceFlow offers:
- research-based tools on how creativity works
- tips for adapting tools to your own work,
- encouragement to develop creative habits that grow into a sustained practice
- emphasis on process, not just product
What this means for you: No matter what your background and interests are, you will be welcome in a SparkJuiceFlow workshop. We value what you bring, and you will take away something useful for your own work.

rooted in research
SparkJuiceFlow is informed by research across multiple fields, including:
- psychology and neuroscience
- education and learning theory
- design thinking
- complex systems science
Research suggests that creativity:
- develops through practice rather than personality
- is strengthened by curiosity and openness about diverse people, cultures, and experiences
- is domain-specific, and takes different forms in different fields
- benefits from a balance of individual exploration and collective exchange
What this means for you: You’ll get exposure to a wide variety of ideas about creativity, and will develop ways to apply the science of creativity to your own goals.

interdisciplinary practice
SparkJuiceFlow draws on methods and perspectives from art, science, and education, using multiple modes of engagement to support different ways of thinking, including:
- balance of intellect, intuition, and the senses
- writing and verbal reflection
- drawing and visual thinking
- movement and embodied exploration
What this means for you: Some of the activities will feel familiar, some will push you outside your comfort zone — and these may be the most valuable. Activities alternate between individual and collective modes, intellect and intuition/ sensory modes, and between serious work and open-ended play.
